Medical Exchange
To
date, a total of seven physicians have come to the US at Project Restoration’s
Invitation. Three more physicians have been invited to participate in our
“Medical Exchange” program.
As mentioned earlier, our medical focus is in the areas of rehabilitation, prostheses/orthotics and orthopedic surgery. Two orthopedic surgeons and a neurosurgeon from the Republic Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery have been invited by Project Restoration to participate in our ongoing exchange program.
One orthopedic surgeon specializes in pediatrics and the other in joint replacements for adults. The neurosurgeon specializes in spinal cord injuries.
They will be required to pass an English exam given by the Head of the Foreign Language Department at the Minsk Medical University. Because it is important that they have good verbal skills and a high level of comprehension they will be required to pass an English exam. It will be given by the Head of the Foreign Language Department at the Minsk Medical University.
